HealthSmart Preferred Care is a nationwide Preferred Provider Organization (PPO). HealthSmart was formed in 1993 to meet the ever-changing and growing need for effective management of cost and quality in the health care delivery system.

HealthSmart provides health care coverage through direct access and management of a nationwide network.
